”Je me demande toujours ce qui peut inspirer l’artiste et lorsqu’il livre son oeuvre au regard, s’il n’a pas l’impression de livrer son âme. Un tableau est une source d’émerveillement et j’y trouve forcément le reflet de mes propres interrogations et émotions du moment. Ton tableau vibrant de couleurs me fait penser aux masques et bergamasques du poème de Verlaine. J’y vois une fête flamboyante et sous le relief et la matiière, des visages dissimulés sous des masques de carnaval aux sourires trompeurs… L’art est un miroir finalement, et l’on y trouve sans doute rarement ce que le créateur a voulu exprimer, mais c’est cet imaginaire infini qui le rend vivant.
